Purpose and Overview

The purpose of posting this job description is to find a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Quality Assurance - Team Leader in our growing company. As a Team Leader, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process and ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards. The job post offers an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in quality assurance and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

The Quality Assurance - Team Leader will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality assurance standards. They will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement effective quality control measures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute their expertise and make a significant impact on our company's success.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting the Quality Assurance testing in accordance with the firmwide Quality Assurance standards 
  • Document outcomes of conformance / non-conformance
  • Oversee review findings remediation to ensure all items are closed in a timely manner
  • Stakeholder management - Regular liaison with front and middle office employees regarding review findings and where appropriate, escalation to senior management
  • Ad-hoc regulatory / audit-related remediation projects 
  • Design and production of regular Management Information (MIS) - compiling data and producing regular reporting as required by senior management and business forums/committees

Requirements

  • MBA/Post Graduate/Bachelor in any discipline with relevant experience
  • Work experience of 2-4 years in a financial service industry
  • Quality Assurance, control testing, audit, compliance background is preferred 
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management Products is preferred
  • Ability to identify and articulate new or emerging risks to the business, getting to the why as efficiently as possible. 
  • Detail oriented and a disciplined approach to process and quality controls. 
  • Strong documentation skills to clearly articulate results of testing.
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint , documentation and metrics.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Strong teamwork, partnership, and collaboration
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, review and document processes 
  • The role is specific to support APAC region, therefore, looking for Cantonese / Mandarin language is a must
