D365 Business Central-SCM Functional Consultant

Purpose and Overview

The purpose of posting this job description is to find a highly qualified D365 Business Central-SCM Functional Consultant who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a Functional Consultant, the candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for our clients. They will be responsible for providing functional expertise in supply chain management and logistics, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.

The D365 Business Central-SCM Functional Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into functional solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system configurations, conduct testing, and provide training and support to end-users. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact on our clients' supply chain management processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• You will be leading some of our Dynamics Business Central projects. You should understand the needs of a client's business and help them get the most value from the system.
• Data gathering, preparation and import into Business Central Document business requirements and functional specifications using Microsoft’s Sure step methodology (GAP Fit analysis and Functional Requirements Documentation).
• Understand user and system requirements and identify specific enhancement customizations if necessary.
• Implement and deploy Dynamics 365 Business Central software (design, configure, train, support).
• You will be providing quality Dynamics training sessions and follow up training materials to proactively service our customers throughout the whole implementation cycle.
  

Requirements

• Strong hold on core SCM module.
• Should have knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics Navision/ MS Dynamics BC/Functional.
• Ready to travel client site.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English).
• Strong Excel/Data handling skills.
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is preferred.
