Job description

A. Position Purpose

The purpose of this role is to guide and motivate the team of Investment Counsellor for delivering target revenue and balance sheet growth from portfolio under management of “banking & Insurance Primarily in Wealth Management (HNI/Wealth Management), Financial Planning Portfolio Management / Life Insurance/PMS/AIF Structured Products and banking services. The targets should be delivered using relationship management and tactical strategies to acquire new clients, deepen, cross sell, engagement of clients.

Job Description:

  • Analyze investment products and determine which product is appropriate for the clients
  • Responsible to increase the Branch AUM
  • Support and handhold Relationship managers in joint calls
  • Maintain MIS and drive business across mapped branches
  • Coordinate with AMCs and ensure compliance while distributing the products
  • Train new RM’s on Products and Markets
  • Ownership of investment targets assigned to mapped branches
  • Portfolio monitoring, rebalancing, and reviews.
  • Strong consultative, negotiation and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues.
  • Proven ability to succeed in a target/KPI driven environment

B. Qualifications and Experience Requirement

Qualifications

Graduate or Post Graduate/ MBA AMFI / NISM , IRDA certified

Experience

7 years+ Wealth Management (HNI/Wealth Management), Financial Planning Portfolio Management / Life Insurance/PMS/AIF Structured Products and banking services

C. Competency Requirements

a. Functional Skills

  • Respective to core domain expertise have Sound knowledge of Wealth , insurance OR business banking Products across Trade, Forex, CMS, Insurance, lending ( working capital / term loans )
  • Good analytical skills, ability to understand client needs and sell range of products.
  • Knowledge of competitive offering & keeps himself updated.

b. Behavioural Skills

  • Sales Management, strong interpersonal and communication skills- English & Vernacular.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to plan & deliver business goals.
  • Experience in financial services- in depth knowledge of Wealth Management/Trade & Fx domain.
  • Process Orientations, self-discipline to adhere to laid down processes.
  • Possesses high integrity and professional values
  • Has passion for selling and entrepreneurial orientation
