Purpose and Overview

The purpose of posting this job description is to find a highly qualified DevOps Engineer who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a DevOps Engineer, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software development and deployment processes. They will be responsible for implementing and managing the tools and infrastructure necessary for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of our software products.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and tools necessary for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve issues related to software build, deployment, and release
• Automate manual processes and tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error
• Monitor and analyze system performance, capacity, and availability, and recommend improvements as needed
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Manage and configure cloud services and platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform
• Ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure and applications
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability
• Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Docker, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) principles and tools
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack
• Understanding of networking and security principles
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
