Purpose and Overview

The purpose of posting this job description is to find a highly qualified Shopify Developer who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a Shopify Developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing and customizing Shopify themes, as well as working with other e-commerce platforms such as Bigcommerce and Woocommerce. The job post is for a full-time position based in Surat, Gujarat, India, and the candidate will be required to work on-site.

The ideal candidate should have 1 to 5 years of work experience in Shopify development and possess a strong understanding of Shopify's features and functionalities. They should also have a good knowledge of other e-commerce platforms and be able to customize themes according to client requirements. The educational qualifications for this position are flexible, and any relevant degree or certification will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to meet client requirements
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce websites
• Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance website functionality
• Optimize website performance and ensure fast loading times
• Troubleshoot and debug any issues or errors in the Shopify platform
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients
• Test and QA websites to ensure they are bug-free and functioning correctly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of experience in Shopify development
• Strong knowledge of Shopify's features and functionalities
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as Bigcommerce and Woocommerce
• Proficiency in Shopify theme customization
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of liquid programming language
• Experience with integrating third-party apps and plugins
• Ability to optimize website performance and ensure fast loading times
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
