Purpose and Overview

The purpose of posting this job description is to find a highly qualified Jewellery Designer who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a Jewellery Designer, the candidate will be responsible for creating unique and innovative designs with our Lab-grown diamonds. They will play a crucial role in the development and production of our jewellery line, ensuring that our designs are visually appealing, marketable, and meet the needs and preferences of our target audience.

The Jewellery Designer will work closely with our team to understand the latest trends and customer preferences in the jewellery industry. They will be responsible for creating sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of jewellery designs, and collaborating with our production team to bring these designs to life. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent artistic and technical skills, and a deep understanding of jewellery design principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Create unique and innovative jewellery designs that align with our brand aesthetic and target audience
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and techniques in the jewellery industry
• Collaborate with the product development team to translate design concepts into sketches, 3D models, and prototypes
• Work closely with the production team to ensure that designs are accurately translated into finished products
• Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and design jewellery pieces that cater to their needs
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for production purposes
• Ensure that all designs meet quality standards and are aesthetically pleasing
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing product presentations and promotional materials
• Attend trade shows and industry events to stay updated on the latest trends and network with industry professionals
• Maintain a strong understanding of jewellery design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Jewellery Designer
• Graduate in a relevant field
• Proficient in using autoCAD software for jewellery design
• Strong artistic and creative skills
• Excellent knowledge of jewellery design principles and techniques
• Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of different materials, gemstones, and manufacturing processes used in jewellery production
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
