Immigration Counsellor (Australia / Canada)

Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Immigration Counsellor (Australia / Canada) at our growing company. As an Immigration Counsellor, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and support to individuals seeking immigration services for Australia and Canada. They will be responsible for assisting clients with their immigration issues, providing counseling and support, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

As an Immigration Counsellor, the candidate will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of immigration processes and regulations. They should be able to provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling to clients, and have a background in psychology or mental health counseling. The ideal candidate will also have experience in family therapy and be able to navigate complex immigration issues.

This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), and the successful candidate will be expected to work on-site. They should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration counseling, with a maximum of 5 years of experience. A graduate degree or higher is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and support to individuals seeking immigration services for Australia and Canada
• Assist clients with their immigration issues, including completing necessary forms and documentation
• Conduct counseling sessions with clients to assess their needs and provide appropriate support
• Offer crisis intervention and mental health counseling to clients experiencing emotional distress related to their immigration process
• Stay up-to-date with immigration laws and regulations for Australia and Canada
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for successful immigration outcomes
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the entire immigration process
• Assist clients in understanding and navigating complex immigration issues
• Coordinate with external agencies and organizations to ensure compliance with immigration regulations

Requirements

• Selected Candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include: 
• Making sales call and meeting clients.
• Helping clients understand immigration procedures for Canada and Australia permanent residency.
• Explaining clients and candidates about the various immigration visa process
• Regular follow up on enquiries received.
• Identify, resolve queries & handling objections of clients.
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales Oriented and target driven attitude. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
• Convert leads and inquiries by interacting with the client through telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face discussion, understand the client's profile and visa requirement and provide appropriate solutions based on the client's eligibility and the services offered by the company.
• Able to counsel the client for the process of Canada/Australia immigration from starting to end.
• Advice on the overseas options available, so as to enable the candidates & their family makes an educated choice & the right decision.
• Give clear and accurate information based on the current immigration & visa laws & policies.
• Provide professional and quality counselling service that exceeds customer and client expectations
• Provide a fair and solid evaluation of a candidate's profile.
• Achieve excellent customer service by proactively responding to client queries and advising candidates on their overseas immigration and visa needs.
