Purpose and Overview

We are currently seeking a highly qualified SAP ABAP professional to join our growing team. The SAP ABAP professional will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our SAP systems, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness.

As an SAP ABAP professional, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging SAP programs and applications. You will work closely with our team of developers and functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in system enhancements, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of our SAP systems.

This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban (Karnataka), and the successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. A graduate degree or above in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP programs and applications using ABAP programming language
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Perform unit testing and debugging of SAP programs to ensure their accuracy and efficiency
• Participate in system enhancements and upgrades, including analyzing impact, designing solutions, and implementing changes
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP programs and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP systems, including investigating and fixing bugs and errors
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including program specifications, test plans, and user manuals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration and interface development between SAP and other systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for system improvements
• Assist in training and mentoring junior SAP ABAP developers

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Strong knowledge of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Graduate degree or above in a relevant field
• Experience with full-cycle SAP implementation projects
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools
• Knowledge of SAP modules and integration points
• Understanding of SAP data structures and database concepts
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
