The KGS India journey has been one of consistent growth, with a current employee count of c.21,000, operating from eight locations in India — Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, Noida, Pune and Kolkata. — and providing a range of Advisory and Tax-related services to KPMG firms around the world.

Team Overview 

Our Cloud team focuses on enabling our client’s end to end journey from On-Premises to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Cloud Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Total 7 to 10 years of experience in Cloud Architecture and Cloud Strategy
  • Ability to drive engagements in the assessment for organizations - Cloud Strategy, Cloud operating model and Cloud capability review.
  • Providing Cloud performance reviews, TCO analysis, benchmarking against Cloud best practices. Carrying out Cloud transformations, aligning business with Cloud strategy & planning by building effective Governance frameworks.
  • Azure/GCP in infra background with experience in Migration or Build or Design or Architect
  • Experience with architecting, designing, implementing, or operating IT systems on leading commercial Cloud platforms, including Azure, and Google
  • Hands on experience doing migrations to public cloud and familiarity with leading migration tools present in the market.
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Networks, Security and Identity Access Management.
  • Must have in-depth understanding of compute, storage, network components including backup, monitoring and DR environment requirements
  • Experience and understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud) required
  • Sound understanding of Virtualization and Hypervisors.
  • Knowledge of DevOps approaches and working practices
  • In depth knowledge of implementing various cloud migration patterns such as re-host, repurpose, refactor
  • Must have experience for planning migrations to public or hybrid clouds including infrastructure sizing and costing
  • Cloud Security experience will be an added advantage

The Person:

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams and develop excellent client relationships
  • Significant experience in consulting and presenting complex solutions to business executives
  • Track record in advisory of complex large-scale architectural solutions on cloud
  • Good understanding of infrastructure, network, database, security architecture, IAM for cloud-based solutions
  • Understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud)
  • Knowledge of IT operate models including DevOps approaches and working practices
  • Experience of managing technical reviews and assessments of cloud strategy, roadmaps, cloud data models, cloud integration, and cloud migration tools
  • Embraces a growth mindset for business development, with an ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Good team player with strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent (Bachelor Of Technology/ Bachelor Of Engineering)
