Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Business Development Executive at our growing company. As a Business Development Executive, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our organization. They will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to increase sales and revenue.

The Business Development Executive will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies. They will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential growth areas and opportunities. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong background in IT sales, vendor management, and business development, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve sales targets
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential growth areas and opportunities
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and performance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Strong background in IT sales, vendor management, and business development
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • MBA or equivalent degree in business or a related field
  • Ability to travel as required
