Purpose and Overview

We are currently seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a People Development Officer. The purpose of this job description is to attract talented candidates who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a People Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in the development and growth of our employees. You will be responsible for creating and implementing effective learning and development strategies, as well as coordinating training workshops and e-learning programs. This position requires a strong background in Human Resource Management and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

As a People Development Officer, you will be responsible for assessing training and development needs, designing and delivering training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure that our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporating them into our programs. Responsibilities

  • Assess training and development needs of employees
  • Design and deliver effective training programs and workshops
  • Create and implement learning and development strategies
  • Coordinate and manage training logistics, including scheduling and venue arrangements
  • Develop e-learning modules and other digital learning resources
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training content
  • Provide coaching and support to employees to enhance their skills and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to training and development

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • MBA in Human Resource Management
  • Strong knowledge of learning and development strategies
  • Experience in conducting training needs assessments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to design and deliver effective training programs
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
