Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified WordPress Developers who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a WordPress Developer, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring they are SEO-optimized and meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress, WooCommerce, theme customization, plugin development, hooks & filters, and website development.

The WordPress Developer will work on-site at our location in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) and will be employed full-time. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development and possess an engineering educational background. We are open to both male and female candidates for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are SEO-optimized and meet client requirements
• Create custom themes and plugins for WordPress
• Perform website updates and maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure website functionality and user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs in WordPress websites
• Optimize website performance and speed
• Implement security measures to protect WordPress websites
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members
• Conduct website audits and implement improvements based on SEO best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, theme customization, plugin development, hooks & filters, and website development
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with website optimization and SEO best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in WordPress websites
• Knowledge of website security measures and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Engineering educational background
