Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Merchandiser at our growing company. As a Merchandiser, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team by utilizing their expertise and passion to contribute to the company's success. The Merchandiser will be responsible for various tasks related to apparel engineering, knitting, merchandising, product knowledge, production process, and technical textile. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Gurgaon (Haryana).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
  • Create and maintain product displays that attract and engage customers.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze customer feedback and make recommendations for product improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Train and mentor junior merchandising staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products.

Requirements

  • Graduate and above educational qualifications.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in merchandising.
  • Expertise in apparel engineering, knitting, and technical textile.
  • Strong knowledge of product development and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using merchandising software and tools.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
