Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Kitchen Assistant in our growing company. Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
• Assist in plating and garnishing dishes
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of 8th grade
• Prior experience as a Kitchen Assistant is preferred, but freshers are also welcome
• Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and utensils
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
