Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, following recipes and quality standards
• Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas
• Stock and maintain inventory of food and supplies
• Assist in the receiving and storage of food deliveries
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Assist in the training and development of new kitchen staff
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow recipes and quality standards
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portioning
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
