Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Shopify Developer at our growing company. As a Shopify Developer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team by utilizing their expertise and passion to contribute to the development and optimization of our Shopify platform. The job post is aimed at individuals who possess the necessary qualifications and skills to excel in this role.

As a Shopify Developer, the main responsibilities will include designing and implementing SEO-optimized strategies, integrating various tools and applications, and creating and customizing Shopify templates. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Figma design software and be able to work on-site in our Ahmedabad (Gujarat) location. The job offers full-time employment with a competitive salary range of INR 125,000 to INR 425,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SEO-optimized strategies to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic to our Shopify platform
• Integrate various tools and applications, such as Figma design software and Shopify apps, to enhance the functionality and user experience of our Shopify platform
• Create and customize Shopify templates to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly interface
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and marketers, to develop and implement new features and functionalities
• Perform regular website maintenance and updates, including troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Optimize website performance and loading speed to provide a seamless user experience
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce industry
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality and compatibility of the Shopify platform across different devices and browsers
• Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective digital marketing strategies, such as email marketing and social media integration, on the Shopify platform

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Shopify Developer
• Strong proficiency in Shopify development, including expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Figma design software and the ability to translate design mockups into functional Shopify templates
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to implement SEO-optimized strategies
• Understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad (Gujarat)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• BCA degree or equivalent educational qualification
