Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified welders who can contribute their expertise and passion to our growing company. As a welder, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team, ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding projects. The job post is for a full-time position, based in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), and the work mode is on-site.

The ideal candidate should have experience with Selenium (Software) and possess educational qualifications such as 8th, 10th, 12th, ITI, and Diploma. We prefer male candidates for this role. The salary range for this position is between INR 250,000 and INR 450,000 per year. We welcome both experienced welders and freshers with up to 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Prepare materials and surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete welding projects within deadlines
• Ensure the quality and integrity of welded components and structures
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues or defects
• Maintain accurate records of welding activities and materials used
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder or similar role
• Proficient in using welding equipment and tools
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Attention to detail and precision in welding tasks
• Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for welding
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
