Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Shopify Developer at our growing company. As a Shopify Developer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team by utilizing their expertise and passion to contribute to the development and optimization of our Shopify platform. The job post is for a full-time position, based in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), and requires on-site work.

The Shopify Developer will be responsible for various tasks related to Shopify development, including integrating and optimizing the platform for search engine optimization (SEO). The candidate should have a strong understanding of Shopify, Shopify Apps, and Shopify Templates. A minimum of 1 year of experience and a bachelor's degree in technology (B.Tech) are required for this position. The salary range for this role is between INR 50,000 and INR 3,75,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates to meet the company's requirements
• Create and modify Shopify Apps to enhance the functionality of the platform
• Optimize the Shopify platform for search engine rankings and implement SEO best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Ensure the security and performance of the Shopify platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs related to Shopify development
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Shopify development
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members
• Conduct regular testing and quality assurance of the Shopify platform
• Document and maintain technical specifications and code documentation

Requirements

• Strong experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and app development
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid programming language
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of SEO best practices and experience in optimizing Shopify platforms for search engine rankings
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
