US Debt Collector

Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of US Debt Collector. As a growing company, we are in need of a talented individual who can contribute their expertise and passion to our team. The US Debt Collector will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from our customers, ensuring timely payments and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of debt settlements and strategies.

The US Debt Collector will work full-time on-site at our locations in Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in debt collection, with a maximum of 5 years of experience. A graduate degree or higher is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage and collect outstanding debts from customers
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
• Communicate with debtors via phone, email, and in-person to resolve outstanding debts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of debt collection activities
• Follow legal requirements and company policies when collecting debts
• Provide excellent customer service to debtors, answering any questions or concerns they may have
• Work closely with other departments to resolve any issues related to debt collection
• Meet monthly and quarterly targets for debt collection
• Prepare and present reports on debt collection activities to management
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in debt collection

Requirements

• Should have prior experience with handling US clients
• Graduate degree or higher
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in debt collection
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of debt settlements and negotiation strategies
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations professionally
• Proficiency in using debt collection software and tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
