Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this job description is to attract highly qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Specialist at our growing company. As a Human Resources Specialist, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise and passion for HR in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for various HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and provide support to employees across the organization. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding and orientation programs
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters
  • Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
  • Handle employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs
  • Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Minimum of an MBA degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Experience with recruitment and selection processes
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
