User Experience Engineer

Purpose and Overview

As a User Experience Engineer, you will be responsible for creating optimized user experiences by translating design concepts to prototype solutions. Your typical day will involve working on prototype work and other software engineering solutions that create an optimized user experience, with a balanced understanding of technical feasibility implications and design intent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of user experience design solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that user experience design solutions are technically feasible and meet design intent. 
• Translate design concepts to prototype solutions as quickly and tangibly as possible, with a balanced understanding of technical feasibility implications and design intent.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and ensure that user experience design solutions meet user needs and expectations.
• Communicate design solutions effectively to stakeholders, utilizing design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD for clarity.
• Accountable for prototype work and other software engineering solutions that create an optimized user experience. 
• Translate design concepts to prototype solutions as quickly and tangibly as possible, with a balanced understanding of technical feasibility implications and design intent.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Design or Master of Design degree
• Minimum of 3 years of of relevant experience in interaction design/ UX design
• Create new designs, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
• Communicate iterative designs to both internal and external teams 
• Participate in the brainstorming and creation of concepts for best-in-class user experiences, strong, clean visual design sense with a massive, unrelenting focus on attention to detail
• Experience working in an agile development environment; this includes understanding and creative
